receives ISO 9001:2000 Certification

On August 26, 2004, Profuturo, the market leader in the administration
of Pension and Severance Pay Funds in Panama, received from the certifying
company SGS, and issued under the UKAS Accreditation Scheme (United
Kingdom Accreditation Service), an ISO 9001: 2000 Certificate. This
certification covers the company’s business processes, which include
affiliation, collection, investments and information processing in Pension
and Severance Pay Funds.
ProFuturo, with a market share participation of 48% in Severance Pay
Funds and 32% in Pensions, is proud to be the first company of its kind
in Panama to receive ISO 9001:2000 certification.
This certification is the result of a long process, which ProFuturo
initiated approximately two years ago, and its main objective is achieving
total customer satisfaction and loyalty, from those who have long trusted
in ProFuturo. This certification will surely provide a well-deserved
guarantee to its customers.
With the ISO certification, ProFuturo consolidates its leadership
in servicing its clients and affiliates and incorporates quality assurance

The certification was given by Mr. Roy Williams - Manager of the certifying
company SGS - to the lawyers Juan Carlos Mastellari - General Manager
- and Carlos Poveda - Manager of Operations and Technology of ProFuturo
