Banco General offers a variety of secured loans using Savings Accounts, Certificates of Deposit and Securities as collateral:

Loan Amounts with Excellent Conditions

  • Loans with deposits as collateral: up to 90% of the total deposit (a minimum of US$1,000)
  • Loans with securities as collateral: up to US$250,000 (a minimum of US$10,000)


Secured loans guaranteed with bonds and/or stocks, require to be registered with the National Stock Commission (Comision Nacional de Valores) or in the Stock Exchange (Bolsa de Valores), and previously accepted by the Bank.
